Hash produced by collecting the potent form of cannabis and processing the potent material found in marijuana plants. Hash is also called as Hashish. After collecting the potent material, it is pressed to form a solid mass and this is called as hash. The main source of hash is THC, a type of cannabinoid, also called as trichome, found in the

leaves and stems of female marijuana plant. There are three popular ways of making hash that we are seeing are:

1. The alcohol method

2. The blender method

3. Making cannabutter

Making hash through alcohol method:

1. Put the stash, which includes stems, seeds, and mild weed in a pot with sufficient alcohol to cover the stash completely. Make sure that the isopropyl alcohol you are using is 99% pure

2. Boil the mixture of alcohol and stash carefully on an electric stove. Alcohol is very inflammable and make sure that you are attending it carefully. Strain the solids out and save alcohol after 45 minutes of heating

3. Repeat the above process with the same residuals and fresh alcohol

4. Combine both the two quantities of alcohol and boil them again until you get a syrupy mixture, which contains THC extracted from the stash

Making hash through blender method:

1. Add leaves, stems, seeds, mild weed to with 3 to 4 ice cubes to the water in the blender and blend it until everything is chopped finely

2. Strain this mixture through a gold coffee filter into a jar. Run some more water on the residuals so that trichome will wash out to the jar

3. Allow the clear liquid to settle down for sometime and you will observe white collection at the bottom of the jar, which is trichome. Allow the trichome to settle down for some more time

4. Pour off about 2/3 of filtered green water and take care that you are not pouring off the trichome from the bottom

5. Add some more ice water to remove the rest residual from the jar after allowing trichome to settle at the bottom of jar. Repeat this step once more to get fine trichome and pour off as much clear water as you can

6. Filter the remaining liquid from the jar through a coffee filter paper. This paper does not allow the white trichome to pass through. The white trichome remains on the paper so that you can handle it easily and compress it

Making Cannabutter:

1. Put a small amount of butter to a pot of water and allow it boil where the butter melts and mixes with the water in the pot

2. Add the raw material called stash to the boiling water and allow it to boil for sometime. Stir the whole contents frequently throughout the boiling process

3. Filter the liquid from the boiled and let the liquid to cool down. Once it has cooled down, you can see a white, solidified cannabutter at the bottom of the jar. This is also used in cakes, just like butter
